Database Connection Error Page in Insallation

    Hey there,
    I’m fairly new at this WordPress gig. I’m having trouble at the beginning of my WordPress installation. Would someone mind taking the time help me out? I’d appreciate that very much…

    Here’s my site (and the current error page coming up on it):

    I’m not getting to connect with my database, but i know it’s there. My php login text is:

    // ** MySQL settings ** //
    define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘thesudanhouse_com_blog’); // The name of the database
    define(‘DB_USER’, ‘********’); // Your MySQL username
    define(‘DB_PASSWORD’, ‘*******’); // …and password
    define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘localhost’); // 99% chance you won’t need to change this value

    are you sure that the username and password mentioned has access rights to that database? if that dosen’t work, you may try to use a database with a shorter name.
