    Difficult to say based on the provided info so far.
    It would help tremendously if you could provide extra error info from the error_log.

    Line 597 is part of the File Change Detection scan_files() class (recursive) method.

    To collect more info you could also set WP_DEBUG to true in the wp-config.php file and then run a manual File Change Detection scan (otherwise you would have to wait for a scheduled File Change Detection scan to kick off).
    There may be errors displayed on screen.

    And lastly it would help if you could provide a screenshot of the iTSec plugin Logs page after selecting File Change History as “Select Filter:”.
