Database Cache Method setting in plugin settings
-
I am using W3TC for my https://danscartoons.com which has about 18K pages and 5K images throughout. WooCommerce is my shopping cart and I have the site hosted on VPS. This is where my question lies – since I am on VPS I did go in and check the general tab settings and discovered that in ‘Database Cache Method’ it is currently set on ‘Memcached’ for all chosen settings. However, I am wondering that since I am on VPS, would not choosing the setting: ‘Alternative PHP Cache (APC)’ under Dedicated / Virtual Server be better? I want to ask this ahead of time before tweaking anything. My site has alot of PHP coding especially for images and in WooCommerce. I have about 63 category pages that can be accessed here: https://danscartoons.com/cartoons and wondering if those could open faster by choosing this setting? I do use the plugin in conjunction with CloudFlare btw. Thank you for any insights
