Database backups keep arriving via email even after deactivating the plugin

Hi,

I have had iThemes installed on a client’s website with no issues, with database backups set to run weekly. This morning I came back after being out for a couple of hours to find 148 database backup emails waiting for me. I disabled database backups but they keep coming. I have now completely deactivated the plugin but I am still getting an database backup via email every five minutes.

How do I stop this, given that the plugin is deactivated?
