Database backup stopped working

Hi,

the scheduled database backup suddenly stopped working.
I do not get the email anymore.

How big is the database size? Can you test to see if you can create a manual backup? Did you check to see if the e-mail landed in your spam box instead of your inbox? Did you update any other plugins? Do you know if your host made any changes to your server?

Hi,
manual backup works and email received.
The file being sent is 965KB.

This is the cron job event:
aiowps_daily_cron_event
AIOWPSecurity_Cronjob_Handler->aiowps_daily_cron_event_handler()

The server was updated with PHP 7.1 but its been working after that I think.
Plugins been updated but can not see that its related to when this stopped working.

I also enable debug mode but cron log is empty.
The other log file gets a record when making a manual DB backup.

So you are not sure if it stopped working after your server was updated to PHP 7.1? Do you know the exact PHP version your server is running?

PHP Version : 7.1.22

Its not compatible with PHP 7.1?
I made a compatibility test for 7.1 and 7.2 and it passed both but 7.2 had varnings.

Its hard to see if it stopped working when I updated PHP version.

Is it correct cron job running?
How to reset the scheduled DB backup but keep all other settings?
Delete the cron job event and make the settings again?

Hi, check the following documentation. There are two manage cron jobs plugins that I recommend. Try one of these and let me know how you go.

I use WP control.

I fired the event manually but nothing happen.

I don’t think this is on server level.
They don’t know anything about this plugin.

Is there not anything to try related to this issue?

There haven’t been big changes to the server.
And it been working before.
And all other cron events are working.

I am not sure why it is empty. But to me it looks like something changed in your site and or server that has caused this issue. The reason why I am saying this is because of your title.

Hi, yes delete it and see if that helps. I guess it does not hurt to try. Something else that you could try is to disable and re-enable the plugin.
