    A site of mine is making all the backup files remotely but the DB file is never uploaded to my dropbox. The other files are.

    I can see the DB gz file on the server but no upload.

    Using the latest plugin version and now the latest version of wordpress.

    Get back to me soon, thanks.

    Hi,

    That’s not the same log file as you posted part of before – or if it is, then it’s not the entire log file. The log file you posted in pastebin.com only goes up to (12), whereas the extract you posted before was on (21). (They are sequential).

    I made a new manual backup with debugging checked and then klicked download the modified log file an pasted it at pastebin.com

    Do you need something more or else?

    Hi Svante,

    The log you posted appeared to show the backup progressing as expected (but not yet complete), so I couldn’t find anything to say about it! If it did not complete finally, then please post the updated log file (it will have some more contents after what you posted previously).

    Hi,

    I can see from the log file that the problem is bad network connectivity from your web server to Dropbox. A lot of this sort of thing:

    3169.767 (11) Dropbox error: exception occurred whilst getting account info: couldn’t connect to host

    UD has strategies to keep retrying; but eventually it stops.

    Presumably the other sites on the same server are smaller, so they have less failures before UD gives up. You should ask your web hosting company why there are so many problems in the connection to Dropbox – we’ve not yet seen any other reports of this problem, so it does not seem to be that Dropbox are having a problem generally with their side.
