database backup blocked

    Since installing Wordfence I am blocked from backing up my database. Upon examining the database structure I find a number of new tables labeled wp_wf* that I suspect are Wordfence tables. Backup attempts get this message:

    mysqldump: Got error: 1146: Table ‘database.wp_wfVulnScanners’ doesn’t exist when using LOCK TABLES

    How do I recover my backup capability?
