data vanished after deactivating pod
-
When I deactivate plugin, some of data in PODS are vanishing. I mean: not on front end but in admin panel ?? how is it possible?
-
It sounds like your cache needs to be refreshed or you have an object cache issue on your server.
Have you tried going to Pods Admin > Settings > Clear Pods Cache
Yes – I cleared the cache
What is strange, some data in pod are cleared, some not
for example i we have fields a, b, c, d, e – the fields a and c are cleared, and b, d, e, are not
The problem is the same on two installations of wordpress on two servers
What specified object cache issue it can be?What version of Pods are you using?
Can you also post your Site Health information? You can get that by going to Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Click “Copy site info to clipboard” button and then paste here.

Is it possible to do anything to prevent data loosing after disabling alternative cache?
We have a few pod types on site – but this problem affects oly one of them
before searching problem with POD alternative cache we have problem with savig data in this problematic POD – we get errorCall stack:
wp_die()wp-content/plugins/pods/includes/general.php:257
pods_error()Was there anything keeping you from updating Pods to Pods 2.8.8.1, this issue was one of the ones addressed in updates since the one you’re on now.
OK i’ll do it ?? Thank You for Your help
Could You send me some link about this issue and how update solved it?
Maybe I could find there more info about some other problems ??The issue is mostly related to how/when Pods initially registers post types and taxonomies and then caches those configurations for future page loads. After updating, it should all just work as you expect there. If not, definitely post in the WP.org forums for the Pods plugin itself. You may still want to reactivate this plugin since it could help with other issues on certain shared hosting environments with larger Pods configurations (that might not apply to you though).
