Data Validation

  • Hi,
    WP Data Access is really wonderful plugin and will take userbase to next level of app development with CMS. Congratulations on developing this.

    Is is possible to give some kind of data validation to the input fields in the data entry form before data get submitted in the database? Validation like length for Taxcode, contactno, format for email id etc

    Thank you for your compliment! ??

    The plugin allows you to extend its PHP classes and add your own validation there. It is currently not possible to add validation to a Data Project. This is planned to be available next month.

    I presume you are using Data Projects? Are you creating a dashboard project, using shortcode wpdadiehard or Data Forms?

    Hi,

    Thanks for prompt reply, the support is awesome. I’m new to WP, Already have site on Django and thinking of moving to WP since it has this wonderful plugin which I think will make it possible. Still exploring, not clear of few things. Using Data Projects and it is a dashobard project with table hierarchy and foreign key dependacies, which is being a bit of challenge as there are user roles with access to only certain fields in table. Lets see how it materialises. Do you have any mentor program or any developer who can help speedup the things, ofcourse for a fee.
