What is happening if we break a connection to get the sync final and restart the connection again. Is there a risk to get double data imports because of it?
How can I find the reason why the sync just stopped? Sure, we have a lot of data to import but we test a lot to be able to decide if we will buy a licence to have all extensions.

Second question. Is there an option or customer field I can use to syncronize the transaction-id of every transaction aswell to CRM? With this we could search inside CRM also for this number? Amazon and PayPal is very important to have this transactions-id-numbers in crm searchable.

    Hi @fox-didl,

Sure, we have a lot of data to import but we test a lot to be able to decide if we will buy a licence to have all extensions.

It sounds like you’re testing API Connector and other paid extensions to sync transaction data, is that correct?

If so, per www.remarpro.com community guidelines, we are not allowed to support premium plugins (paid extensions) in these forums.

For further paid extension inquiries, would you reach out to us using our Pre-sales form below, so we can assist you with your inquiry about paid products?

That said, I can answer your questions by providing an alternative that is included in our core plugin (free features), specifically WooSync module. This approach assumes that you have a WooCommerce site setup, however, so if you are not syncing a WooCommerce store, then you can ignore my suggestions here.

If you’re referring to the API Connector, it does not have a sync feature. API Connector sends data synchronously to the CRM from an external website; that is, every time new data is generated in the external site the CRM receives it at the same moment. If the connection between the external website and the CRM is broken the data is not imported into the CRM.

However, if you want to sync a WooCommerce store, you can do so by using WooSync. For WooCommerce stores (both local and external) the API Connector is not needed, and WooSync is the recommended way of syncing. It is a free feature and you can learn more about it here:

    https://kb.jetpackcrm.com/knowledge-base/adding-a-woocommerce-store-connection-in-woosync/.

How can I find the reason why the sync just stopped?

You can find out through PHP logs. When using WooSync to sync WooCommerce stores there’s a page where you can find this information for WooCommerce connections (called WooSync Hub).

When using the API Connector to connect WooCommerce stores you will have the transaction number also imported. That is the only way API Connector generates transactions.

But still, the recommended way of connecting a WooCommerce store is by using WooSync which also imports the transaction id.

I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions about WooSync. For questions regarding extensions, as noted above, please use our presales form to submit a ticket. Thanks!
