Data submitted on field check, before form is submitted

Hi Abdullah,

In our form the field data are being submitted to the Google Sheet when the user clicks on submit, even if one or more required fields are empty and the form itself is not yet being submitted. The trigger for submitting data seems to be the click on the submit button, regardless if the form is filled in correctly or not. Instead the trigger should be submit after successful field check.

Therefore, in cases where someone clicks “submit”, and gets error messages due to empty required fields, fills the required fields and clicks “submit” again, we end up having two entries in Google Sheet – or even more, if the form check process is repeated several times before the form allows successful submit.

How can we prevent that?
