Data Saving Incorrectly on New Post Due to Plugin Conflict

With a clean WordPress installation using twentynineteen theme and only two plugins installed, ACF and the one I noted above, saving a new post always results in current date being inserted into the text field and both date files are cleared. But if I then correct the data and publish again, the second time, and thereafter, it saves correctly. It is only on the first save of a new custom post that this bug occurs.
Can you please look into this to see what can be done to address this issue? I need to use both plugins on my sites and ACF will not work when the other is activated. Thanks so much for any assistance!
