    Hi,
    thank you for the great plugin! One question though: we currently audit all plugins for compliance with the new EU DSGVO data protection law (Verordnung (EU) 2016/679 des Europ?ischen Parlaments und des Rates vom 27. April 2016 zum Schutz natürlicher Personen bei der Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten, zum freien Datenverkehr und zur Aufhebung der Richtlinie 95/46/EG (Datenschutz-Grundverordnung).
    My question:

    Does the plugin submit data about the visitor to facebook/google etc.?
    I guess yes, as it (I assume) uses standard facebook code. The law states, that data can only be submitted, if the users agrees to it first.

    these plguin is sure not DVGO conform you should use Shariff Wrapper!

    Hi Stooni,
    danke für die Nachricht und den Hinweis. Wir haben uns entschieden alle Social Plugins zu entfernen. Dies ist bereits geschehen. Wegen Google Fonts warten wir noch ab, wegen der Hoffnung auf eine L?sung seitens Google. Wir haben noch ein “altes Cookie Popup”, welches wir austauschen wollten. Hast du da eine Empfehlung? Kommentarsoftware ist bereits ausgetauscht auf WPDISCUZ, welches ja konform sein soll (und auch ein Custom Field zum Best?tigen hat)…

    Nop, this plugin does not send any visitor data to Facebook, Twitter or any other site.
    Only connect to those services using REST API, sending the data that you entered in the settings, so only your REST API keys, no data from your visitors.
