Hello,

I think there may be a data protection issue with this plugin. The anti-spam feature automatically creates an account using the admin email address on the website. However, if that account is used on multiple accounts (e.g. a WordPress development/support agency) then the name of each client is potentially shared across each website and to each of the other clients. Can you look into this please?

Hello,

The default website email is accessible in the WordPress settings. Could you clarify what is the issue? Could you give some examples?

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. One of our clients has added this plugin to their website, and it was auto-registered using the admin email (which is one of our accounts). Another client has done the same thing, and the stats for the first client are showing up in the dashboard of the second client!

As a workaround solution, I think you can deny Login to Dashboard with secret token here:

Hi,

Thanks for the update. Can you clarify that we need to sign in with our own account that uses our general email address, and from there we can deny logins in the WordPress dashboard to your plugin?

We’ve discussed the issue and denying Login to Dashboard with a secret token is the best way to solve it.

Log into your CleanTalk Dashboard with your email:
