Data Layer Push Events

    Thank you so much for a great plug in. Saves me a lot of pain and time.

    I just have a few question about the events section of the Plugin.

    When you enable these events, how do they show up in GTM? I am assuming that you still need to set the appropriate variables and triggers in GTM after enabling them in the plugin?

    Also, by activating the events, does it automatically add the relevant “push” into the DataLayer?

    Finally, for additional events not included in this plugin, is there away for me to edit the DataLayer the plugin inserts into the wordpress?

    Sorry if these questions are basic. First time implementing GTM on www.remarpro.com.

    Hi,

    Activated events will do the necessary pushes into the datalayer so that you can use it on the GTM UI to create triggers using that event names.

    As for you custom events: in most cases you will need to add your own JS codes but yes, that is generally possible. I would say in most cases you will not need to alter or extend my plugin to do so.
