    I am creating a membership site using a membership plugin. People join the membership by filling out a form created using this membership plugin. How does the “Connections Business Directory” plugin capture the data from the membership plugin to populate the Business Directory?

    Connections would not capture the data when the user signed up for a membership via the membership plugin. What others do is create a user account page and on this page, they provide a link for the user to add their Entry to the directory. You would need at least the Link addon for Connections and optionally the Form addon. Here are the links to these two addons:

    Please let me see if I understand the process correctly.

    1. a new user joins up and pays for a premium membership through the membership plugin using the custom Membership Form and payment plugin, both installed through the membership plugin.

    2. using the “After Registration Redirection URL” feature of the membership plugin, have the new member redirected to the input form for the Connections Business Directory.

    3. The new member uses the form to then input only the information that will be displayed on the Business Directory.

    To do this, I will need the Form addon. https://connections-pro.com/add-on/form/

    Do I have this correct?

    Is the Form addon used to create a front end form?

    Yes, though I would recommend redirecting the “account” page instead of directly to the Form page.

    Correct. But the Link addon is essential as that is how their submission is linked to their WP User account so they can add and maintain that Entry.
