Data Error in Search Console

    Hi,

    Working fine until this morning, Site Kit is now throwing up a:

    Data error in Search Console

    Internal error encountered.

    Retry

    Retry didn’t work? Get help:

    …message on the back-end dashboard, and in both the ‘Search Traffic over 28 Days’, and ‘See How Your Content Is Doing’ modules within Site Kit itself.

    I’ve activated the ‘Health Check’ plugin, disabled everything except Site Kit, put it onto a default theme, but nothings working in repairing the above error message.

    Any chance of a fix, please?

    Hang on, it looks like Google Search Console is down.

    Maybe that might have something to do with it?

    Thanks for reaching out and sharing the troubleshooting steps you already performed @deeveearr. Based on the error there may be a temporary issue at host level impacting reporting. To determine more on this, please share the following:

    1. Do you have any other WordPress sites on the same hosting platform? If so please check whether the same occurs.
    2. When checking the Site Kit dashboard from a Chrome browser incognito window does the same occur? If so, please share any browser console errors that appear.?
    3. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status? (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information previously shared.

    Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

    No, I already mentioned above that Search Console was down, so the error was due to Google.

    Now that Search Console is NOT down, it’s all working again.
