Installed Site Kit and successfully connected to website oautah.org. (Search Console, AdSense, Analytics, PageSpeed Insights) However, Site OVerview reports “Data error in Analytics – User does not have sufficient permissions for this profile.”

This is my Google account and it is able to access Google Analytics directly as an Administrator and has full control.

In my Google Analytics account, I added a second Google account as an Admin and tried that in Site Kit. Same problem. Went back to my main account.

Under Settings, the Analytics section reports the correct ID for Universal Analytics tag as found under Google Analytics. However, the Account, Property, and View list entries are different and unknown. When I click “Edit in Analytics,” I get a “Missing permissions” pop-up.

Hello @mijstrebor thanks for reaching out. I’d be happy to look into this for you. This message is displayed then the logged in WordPress user email account does not have access to the connected Google account with Site Kit. Please could you provide the following information:

    1. Your Site Health information or you can use this form to share privately if preferred.
    2. Were you able to access the data before this message or has this always shown?

You could also try resetting your Site Kit by going to Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit. This will disconnect all connected services allowing you to set up from scratch ensuring you are connecting using the correct Google account.
