    Hi,

    I’ve been getting random emails ending in @data-backup-store.com signing up to my mailing list. On my mail chimp dashboard this is what it says.

    MYWEBSITE = my actual website URL

    p0tt_mc4wp_3b87b250_MYWEBSITE.com@data-backup-store . com

    What are these? why are they subscribing? Is it spam, how do i prevent it?

    Its all through my api for home page sign up form.

    Likely spam bots. The hcaptcha plugin has an integration with MC4WP, you can use that or turn on double opt-in to prevent them from signing up.
