Dashboard/add post missing add media tab, wp 2.7

  • Hello everybody, the dashboard is not displaying the add media tab, i don’t see the option to upload add a file when i create a post either. Is this functionality automatically downloaded or do i need to install a plug in?

    I’m having the same issue, I can upload images no problem (using the media library), but once it’s on my webserver I can’t see how to insert them into the posts?

    The previous position for the “add media” option in 2.6 was next to the HTML/Visual tab. This is blank in 2.7.

    Is this an issue with my install? Or a general 2.7 issue?

    Hi,

    Just to let everyone know I uninstalled wordpress completely and then did a clean install, which seems to have fixed the problem.

    I can only assume it was an issue with the automatic upgrade?
