bump – has anyone anywhere experienced this issue?

I hate to tell you this, but bumping like that isn’t helping you much. Most helpers in this forum look for unreplied to topics, and seeing 11 posts, they might think someone is already helping them. Instead, try detailing the problem more thoroughly, like do they ever load, does clearing the cache help, have you tried a complete fresh install?

Thats a valid point. I was going for the hopefully it can get seen before it gets buried under everything else. Apologies.

The widgets have never loaded besides the Recent Comments one. This includes a fresh install of 2.5 then an upgrade to 2.5 then deletion and fresh install again.

I have cleared my cache on this PC and the PC i use at work. The widgets will not load where ever I log in.

    Anything further I can add?

Thanks for the reply as well

OK, I’ve had a bit of a look, and from what I can see, there are four jquery ajax calls being made:

    GET https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/index-extra.php?jax=incominglinks
    GET https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/index-extra.php?jax=devnews
    GET https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/index-extra.php?jax=planetnews
    GET https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/index-extra.php?jax=plugins

Is that file in your wp-admin?

Have you got the firefox firebug plugin? If you use that you might be able to see what is happening wrong, like if there is a timeout set that shouldn’t be etc, or if it is just failing somehow.

    Alex

I have the exact same issue. None of my incoming feeds load in the dashboard. I can’t find any error logs, either.

epicalex, I have had a look and I do have index-extra.php in my wp-admin folder.

I opened each link that you have posted above individually and they called the information that they were supposed to. Once I went back to my wp dashboard all the widgets called the information! The only widget that doesn’t call the information now is the W3Counter plugin, hopefully I can get that working soon.

Johnmark, i recommend that you open each link that epicalex has listed from your domain and then that should load the widgets on your page!

    Back to normal. oh well.

I just did what epicalex suggested and all of the areas in the Dashboard work just fine now.

    Thank you!!
