    Hello,

Within the last two updates my dashboard widgets got permanently expanded and I can’t find any option to restore them to the original state (when they only got expanded on mouse over).

I tried to play some relevant options but I hasn’t been able to make them behave in their old way.

Can anyone advise me what to do? Is is a bug or maybe a feature? However I guess it’s a bug since information in WP SlimStat “core” pages is presented in the same way as it used to be.

Please make sure to have both the last version of the Dashboard Widgets and SlimStat.

    I sure have:
    – WP is 3.6.1
    – SlimStat is 3.3.6
    – Dashboard Widgets is 3.1

Can you disable all the other plugins you have to see if there’s a conflict with Dashboard Widgets?

I did and it brought no result ?? The Dashboard Widgets windows are continuously expanded…

The same happens in all browsers I use: Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

If it helps – I’ve noticed another strange behavior – while in Dashboard the “display settings” option is inactive and there are no drop-down menus in the left-side panel.

When I go to any other WP inside page both those features works as normally.

Could that be some Dashboard error, unrelated to SlimStat widgets?

One thing I must say is that I have thoroughly enjoyed having WP SlimStat on my WordPress site. And I want to say the dashboard widgets are great!

I too am having a problem with the dashboard widgets being continuously expanded. I also noticed that when the dashboard widgets are enabled, when I click on the “screen options”, nothing happens.

This started immediately after clicking on the update WP SlimStat dashboard widgets in the plugin section to v3.1 I had previously updated WP SlimStat to v3.3.6 using the same procedure.

The thread in this page says, the previous problem was resolved, but I didn’t see any resolution in the thread, so I don’t know what to do to get it resolved.

    Can you please help me?

    Thanks,

    Ray

    Camu,

Seems this problem causes the panels to remain open, as well as prevent the dashboard from fully loading. This causes the “screen settings” from not loading.

It also seemed to cause several other options from fully loading, such as the default wordpress links widget.

I figured it might be a memory issue, but my attempts to correctly display the dashboard by adjusting the memory upwards did not work.

hope this helps. I would be willing to test any fixes you come up with.

Please read my messages here above, but thank you for chiming in ??

    Hi camu

I entered a support problem on SlimStat plugin recently about the above problem. I saw that the latest SlimStat Plugin was released today and updated as normal. My problem (which is the same as the above members have explained) remains the same where widgets are expanded and screen settings / options are frozen.

I then disabled and re-enabled all SlimStat plugins but the problem still persists.

Will there be another update to the Dashboard Widget Plugin to rectify this problem or was the recent update to the main SlimStat Plugin meant to sort this problem?

    Thank you for your help.

    Regards

    Hi Neil,

this release was supposed to address the issue, indeed. We distributed a pre-release of 3.4 to a few users who tested it and reported that the issue was fixed for them. Please contact our support team to investigate your case.

    Thank you,
    Camu

    Hi camu

Problem now resolved. I cleared the cache and now works for IE. When I tried Chrome and Firefox they both worked straight away.

Thank you for your help to resolve this issue.

    Regards

A vote for SlimStat would be a nice way to say thank you ??
