    What is the use case in changing the widget identifier?

    You can change the widget title for the frontend similar to this screenshot.

    If you really want to change the “(BP Follow) User’s I’m Following” text, use a language file.

    Here’s a quick tutorial to generate a language file with poEdit:

    Replace the references to WP-Polls with BP Follow and the BP Follow language file located at /wp-content/plugins/buddypress-followers/languages/bp-follow.pot.
