Dashboard Widget Settings Suggestion

  • It would be nice if the widgets in the dashboard had settings. For example:

    Which statistics to show in At-A-Glance (e.g., #comments, #spam, #pending – it’s missing #spam);

    How many posts to show in Activity Recently-Published and Publishing-Soon;

    QuickDraft (hide it but still show some number of drafts user desires);

    Comments – #toShow and what to show (e.g., full comment, excerpt, no text just author and date, etc)

    Some of this was available in 3.7 and was lost with 3.8. Adding these options for each widget would give back functionality and give easy control to users.

    Ah, I remembered the other thing I miss not having in At-A-Glance: #drafts
    I had meant to have that in the list above.
