@divavocals The dashboard widget is fine and working. If you are having issues in your installation, it might be a different, independent issue and can be resolved only if you can provide more information.

Really?? So the recent threads I posted from the AddThis forum are INACCURATE??

So what more info would you like?????

I am using Version 3.5.4 of the plugin

Yes in the plugin settings on the Basic tab I have entered my valid “AddThis Profile ID:”, and the plugin displays the nice green text with the checkmark that says “? Valid AddThis Profile ID”

Yes in the plugin settings on the Basic tab I have entered my AddThis credentials (username and password), and the plugin displays the nice green text with the checkmark that says “? Valid AddThis Credentials”

Then in the plugin settings on the Advanced tab I checked the “Show analytics in admin dashboard:” button..

And when I look at the dashboard, I get the message: “We haven’t recorded any sharing events in the last month for this site. This could be because you just installed addthis. If you would like to increase your sharing,”

I can see my AddThis analytics stats when I log into my AddThis account.. but on the WordPress dashboard widget?? NADA..

    Does that information help??

@divavocals There was an issue with the Analytics rendering in certain url structures and it was fixed few releases back. Since you are using the current version of plugin, this should be a different issue. It would be helpful if you can provide a link to your site where the issue is occurring. You may mail it to srijith[AT]addthis.com

    Sent you an e-mail

So sent an email… haven’t heard back from anyone.. the dashboard widget is STILL are not working (and YES I just updated the plugin to the latest versions)..

    Thread Starter DivaVocals

    (@divavocals)

and today, this is what the AddThis widget displays:

There was an error retrieving your stats from the AddThis servers. Please wait and try again in a few moments.

Still NOT working and still no word from the AddThis guys.. **sigh**

@divavocals: If I am right, we are still waiting for access to your site as per the communications over email. Apologies if we missed anything in between.

I realize I was delayed, but I gave you guys access and I am waiting to hear back from you..

I do have MORE information to share..

The issue I reported for the admin dashboard is not just isolated to the ONE website I reported.. I just installed your plugin on two other client websites, and the stats on the dashboard DO NOT match the stats from AddThis Analytics (I emailed the screenshots to you).

Two of these client sites have a live and dev version (hosted on the same server). What I observed on the two sites that have both a LIVE and a DEV site is that the AddThis dashboard (whether it displays accurate stats or not) works ONLY on the development sites, but on the LIVE sites I get the message:

We haven’t recorded any sharing events in the last month for this site. This could be because you just installed addthis. If you would like to increase your sharing,

There is something wrong with your plugins dashboard feature.. It would be nice to resolve it otherwise the admin dashboard is about as useful as tits on a bull..

Oh and before anyone asks.. YES I am running hte lates version of the plugon (Version 3.5.6)

    Thread Starter DivaVocals

    (@divavocals)

And I see this issue with the dashboard is reported on the AddThis forum..

and the AddThis folks are acknowledging that there is an issue..

    https://support.addthis.com/customer/portal/questions/4068668-dashboard-analytics-wordpress-

The answer supplied to each of these posts is “This is an issue that our team is aware of and should be corrected in a future version of our plugin”

So the question is WHEN.. an ETA is all anyone is asking for..

@divavocals: Apologies, seems like we missed your email. Will be helpful if you can send it again.

We had an issue on certain servers with analytics ( ie., if the blog is hosted in a directory instead of a top level domain. eg: example.com/blog) and the fix was released. Since you are having issue now, it should be another one.

Sorry again! We got your email sent yesterday. I am checking it now.

    (@divavocals)

You should have a BUNCH of e-mails from me..

FYI the two sites that have a live and dev site are setup as follows:

Site 1: Blog is the TOP level
Site 2. Blog is in a subfolder of top level domain

If it helps both of these sites are hosted with Hostmonster..

However, the other sites that have issue with the dashboard not showing what you see on the website are hosted with Bluehost, and Pima Hosting..
