    Hi,

    How can I remove the dashboard widget “wordpress guides/tutorials”. There’s no setting to disable or remove it.

    I know I can hide/show it in screen options but I don’t want the widget to load at all, please advise.

    Kind regards, Twan

  • File:
    menu-icons\vendor\codeinwp\themeisle-sdk\start.php

    rule 25:
    $path . ‘/src/’ . ‘Modules/Dashboard_widget.php’,

    Just disable this rule, adding “//”

    // $path . ‘/src/’ . ‘Modules/Dashboard_widget.php’,

    That’s not a good idea. When the plugin is updated you’ll lose the edits and be back where you started.

    ThemeIsle does provide free support so let’s see if they chime into this topic.

    Thanks for your replies @jsg9in9nl @jdembowski

    I agree, although the code from CMSDeveloper fixes this, it’s not future-proof.

    I also hope someone from the ThemeIsle team is reading this. If so, can you please provide an option to disable the widget?
