Dashboard -> Updates Disappeared

    Up until a few weeks ago, my dashboard would tell me what plugins need updating, and then I could automatically update these things from the plugins page.

    Now I can’t. There is no “Dashboard -> Updates” menu, or anything like this.

    This began sometime during my use of version 4.7.4.
    I manually updated to 4.7.5.
    The problem persists.
    Anyone have any ideas how I can reestablish the update functionality?
