If role is anything other than Admin, toolbar does not show on website pages/post, etc and profile “Show Toolbar when viewing site” is checked.

If role editor plugin is deactivated, everything works as expected regarding the toolbar showing on other roles.

Am I missing something? I don’t see a capability listed in Role editor that appears to control tool bar access.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Open a “Users->User Role Editor” page, select role, scroll page down and look if “Hide admin bar” checkbox is not turned ON for that role.
If you granted to a user multiple roles, look if this option is not turned ON for other roles too.

    Thanks so much.

I’m the one who checked the box in the first place for a custom role I created. The problem was when I went back to find it, it wasn’t there because I had the capabilities schroll area at the bottom and did not see anything. Then I realize I wasn’t really at the bottom when I saw “Additional Options:” at the fold. All I need to do was scroll to the bottom of the “Dashboard” to pull the option into view.

No problem now that I know where it is. ??

    Great plugin.
