• Hi,

My WordPress Dashboard has become completely unresponsive in the last 18 hours, presumably after upgrading to 5.0.1.

Today, I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of WordPress, so currently I have no plugins installed and am using the default Twenty Nineteen theme. I can’t move any of the dashboard boxes, or click on any tabs under the Settings or Tools pages. And when I try to Edit or Add a new Post or Page, it just ends up loading a blank white page.

    I’m running WordPress 5.0.1-en.

    Please help!

Blank white page: A blank white page means that PHP is crashing. This problem can be caused by a variety of issues. Since the problem can be caused by any number of things, check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that. If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find any helpful info in them, try Enabling debugging

    Hi @t-p.

It’s not an entire blank white page, the “Edit page” content just appears blank. And would php crashing explain my inability to select tabs and move around the boxes on the dashboard?

I will check the error logs route but just want to be sure that is what is wrong.

Also, it seems that WordPress works fine when I log-in with my mobile device. Does that mean anything?

    Thanks

    This means it’s a site-specific issue.

Ask you hosting provider whyat’s going on – you can login from mobile but not otherwise.
