Just providing an update that we should have a fix out for this issue soon. I’ll update the thread when it is out. Thanks!
@khaerulmalik we’ve just released version 1.1.0 and advise updating. While we’re still addressing your particular issue for a permanent fix, you can bypass the blocked page by doing a hard refresh (on a Mac, by holding command + shift + r). I’ll keep you updated on the progress of the issue being resolved.
@khaerulmalik @sukabanget Just following up with you in relation to your previous issue with Site Kit setup. We have made some significant upgrades to the plugin as of version 1.1.2. I believe this update will resolve your issue with the dashboard not displaying/populating.
Can you check yourself after upgrading? As an early Site Kit user we value your input, please let me know if the latest update fixes the issue. If not I can assist further.
I’m sorry to say but I have the same issue after updating to v1.1.2
Didn’t have any problems before with the plugin. Now it just says: Site Kit Summery, Visit your Site Kit Dashboard. On clicking the “Visit your Site Kit Dashboard” link I get a blank dashboard page.
Menu items “Dashboard”, “Search Console”, “Analytics” and “Settings” also give a blank page when clicked.Bummer…
@alfablue Can you open a new support thread and share your URL? We may be able to spot something,
@jamesosborne I’m sorry but the site isn’t live yet. It’s still behind a “Coming Soon” page while the site is being re-done.
I can tell you I work with the Astra Theme (Pro), Elementor (Pro). Google Site Kit has been on the site since the Beta version without issues. No substantial changes were made, only a complete restyling.
@alfablue Ah, that could be the problem. Such “Coming soon” plugins can cause such problems. But once you are ready check with Site Kit and we would be happy to assist.
@jamesosborne I don’t use a “Coming Soon” plugin, it’s all done in Elementor. Besides, I’ve been working on the site for the last 2 weeks with the “Coming soon” page (because, that’s all it is, a page) in place and I didn’t have any issues then.
The problem began with the v1.1.2 update. I just reverted to v1.1.1 and now v1.1.0 but the issue stays. How very weird….
I’m really sorry to see this happening.
I flushed all cookies and now v.1.1.0 of Site Kit is connected and working. I’ll stay put to this version because I think you’ll get some work on your plate the next couple of days…
After updating Site Kit, I got error message on dashboard says “Data error in Search Console
cURL error 77: error setting certificate verify locations: CAfile: /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt CApath: none”Any idea?
So I delete the Site kit and reinstall it. The certificate error was gone. After I press setup and login my gmail account it gives me error message
Oops! There was a problem during set up. Please try again.
Unknown Error (code: invalid parameter: ‘site_code’).”
@sukabanget Can you please open a new support topic which we can work from?
@alfablue Thanks for the update. If you want to open your own support topic we can look into this further.
Hi
I installed Site kit on my wordpress. I can complete following steps without any issue.
How to set up Site Kit
1. Go to your WordPress dashboard, and click Add New under the “Plugins” menu.
2. Search for “Site Kit by Google”, find the plugin and click Install Now.
3. After you’ve installed the plugin, click Activate.
4. Click Start Setup and then follow the steps to set up Site Kit.But I cannot do the following step.
5. After you’ve completed the setup, click Connect Service under “AdSense”. You can find this on the Site Kit dashboard or “Settings” tab.
6. Follow the instructions in the plugin. We recommend that you allow Site Kit to place the AdSense code, which will place the AdSense code for non-AMP and AMP versions of your site.Note: To ensure that ads serve, make sure you’ve enabled AdSense ads in your AdSense account. Site Kit does not have permission to make changes to your AdSense account settings.
What all I can see when I access Site Kit wordpress tab is “Sign in with Google to configure Site Kit” screen which asks me to “SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE”
Note : I have installed “W3 Total Cache” and “Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights”. However I deactivated these two plugins and tried Site Kit, but still I have the same issue.
I cannot link my adsence account because of this issue. Please kindly help me to fix this.
Thank you.
