    Hi ! All,
    My Dashboard ‘Right Now’ panel is showing wrong number of widget count. Below is the copy/paste from my Dashboard.

    Right Now
    At a Glance
    609 Posts
    2 Pages
    15 Categories
    948 Tags
    Snapart Theme with 20 Widgets<<<<===== (I only have 6 active widgets)

    You are using WordPress 2.7.1.
    ================================
    Do i have to be worry about this? How to fix it?

    And how do i disable ‘Update to 2.8’ Button and ‘WordPress 2.8 is available! Please update now.’ nag .

    You can use this plugfin to disable update now message from dashboard..

    I suggest you to update your blog to the latest version as wordpress is an open source code tool..

    Thanks for replying the second half of my question.

    I am still eager to know why there’s a wrong widget count in my dashboard.

    Well i had upgraded to the latest version when i ran into a stream of problem with 2.8 , and that’s the reason why i am still with 2.7.1 and hate that Nag Screen ‘Please Update to 2.8’. Its been there done that kinda thing,hope u understand that.

    This thing has been resolved now after upgrading to version 2.8.5.
