• Hey guys,

I am using the latest version of WP (v3.04). At the dashboard, you are allowed to drag different “boxes” to the position you desire. However for my case, some of the boxes after dragging remain there as it is BUT after I refresh the dashboard or navigate away and come back, it will go back to its original position.

This is especially so for wordpress site states, I want it to appear at the top right hand corner, just beside the “right now” box. But whenever i drag it there, it will go back to its original position (bottom left) the next time I come back to the dashboard.

    Help please!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the memory available to PHP?
