Dashboard Page Blank, while trying to defeat

  • While trying to find the cause of trojan code injections on my site,
    I came across code post suggesting to clean up suspicious code containing ” base64_decode”.

    After deleting a line in ./cgi-bin/.index.php, “eval(gzinflate(base64_decode(‘7b1tVypJ0ij6uV3… and so on” the admin page / dashboard) on WP has gone blank.
    I replaced the file with the back I had made prior to the deletition but no luck.

    Please help

    ps: It sucks because I had follow everything to the line and I was trying to change WP passwords for all the users as the last step.

    PROBLEM RESOLVED.

    Not sure how, but there was an extra space at the end of wp-login.php file.
