Dashboard not working

  • I have a fresh install of WP 6.0.2 on a new hosting account.
    The installation went smoothly, as far as I can tell, and looking at the database in phpMyAdmin all the tables are there and look fine.
    I can login at https://huntartstudio.ca/fr/wp-admin/ and the dashboard looks right.
    HOWEVER! None of the functionality of the dashboard seems to be working.
    For example, when I try to add a new theme and click on “Upload theme” I get a blank page and the “choose theme” button does not work. Same goes for plugins and anything else that requires some form of upload.
    The menu won’t add pages, nor will it save a new menu if I create one.
    I have never run into this before in any of the WP sites I have made.
