• None of the feeds on my dashboard are updating (wordpress news, etc). I have tried changing the version of wordpress, disabling all my plugins, refreching and clearing my cache. None of them seem to work.
Does anyone have any sugestions? I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance,

  • macmanx…just thinking, could the missing feeds just be a by-product of pingomatic being down? maybe if no updates are detected after a timeout period, the dashboard displays nothing?

I haven’t had a single problem with the Dashboard and I have 3 blogs on Site5 servers. You may want to wait 6 hours and see if anything changes in your dashboard. If nothing does, contact support and ask if any changes have been made specifically to your server.

That I’m not sure of. My server is having its chassis swapped right now (long story), so I can’t check.

My blog is hosted on MidPhase and the admin feeds just went blank. I came here to see if the problem was posted, and now join in with the rest of the chorus singing, “Huh?” ??

Confirming that feeds are dead on my dashboard.

No changes to my servers have been made. In addition, they are all on the same server, but each exhibits varying degrees of “broken.”

The problems started with 1.5.1. Upgrading to 1.5.1.2 completely wiped out the feed on one of my blogs, and left the other still as broken. ??

Just thought I’d chime in here and say this problem happened with several blogs we have hosted on others servers (ace-host.net). Over the last two days, the dashboard feeds have disappeared, and regarding those, I really don’t care that much. However, I also have noticed that get_links_list() is no longer functioning to update recently updated blogs, and it worked fine through yesterday using the update-blogroll plugin.

It would seem these two problems of disappearing dashboards and updating blog feeds are related.

I am hosted on textdrive.com, and I went to write a post and my dashboard is not showing any articles either. I came here to get some advice, and see others are in the same boat. All I can say is count me in, no dashboard. Before it was all gone, the articles were not getting updated. I am new to WP, and thought maybe the page had to be updated with cron, like blog my e-mail.

hmmm…well, it seems unlikely that it was a host change of any sort. this must somehow be related to the pingomatic problems…

This is quite an unusual mistery. Is anyone here running v1.5 and having these problems or is it a problem with the code in 1.5.1 and 1.5.2?

Cron – Symmetry In My Mind

I have two wordpress installations ( a 1.5.1.1 and a 1.5.1.2) on seperate servers with two seperate providers. The dashboard went blank I believe some time today. I say today because I was in both blogs last night. It is quite odd.

I am a newbie to WP too. ?? WP rocks!

As an update, I checked with the Ace-host.net, they got back to me and state they haven’t done any blocking. I’m running WP 1.5.1.2.

I find myself wondering if certain ports have been blocked at key servers located on common backbone routes, but not directly at the various WP blog hosts. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about such things. I’ve been looking for info on what ports RSS typically uses, and haven’t found it yet.

    On edit:
    https://www.iana.org/assignments/port-numbers

Noticed in the source code of the Dashboard that the rest of the page (including the </body> and </html> tags are not loading either. This error appears to be with the coding itself.

Yep I see the same thing on three different blogs. (all on the same host)

The dashboard went empty on all three within the last 60 minutes. One blog is on WP 1.5.1.2, the other two are on WP 1.5

I installed WP on a subdomain for a project I’m working on and the same thing happened. I just removed all references to the feeds, as I won’t be needing them anyway. Everything still works on my default WP installation however.
