I broke my bosses wordpress site again. I was installing a “receipt plugin” when I activation I was directed to a white page. Now when I login using https://www.ecotoursrotorua.co.nz/wp-login.php the screen defaults to wp-admin meaning I cant access the dashboard or anything else.

I have downloaded Filezilla but I can’t connect to the website host.

    Help I miss my dashboard.

if you think the problem is directly related to your installation of a new plugin….and
if you are unable to get into your hosting via FTP (filezilla) you can access your files via cpanel (if your webhosting company provides that access)

    in the filemanager
look for the WP Content folder
find the plugin that caused the problem
    Delete the plugin

Now I will show how dumb I am by asking how do I contact my webhosting company?

Is that the same as the named server?

not a dumb question but an important one to answer in order to gain proper control over the website.

how was the WordPress website set up originally?
is there some sort of set up document from a developer or designer who might have helped out?

Things are progressing slowly, I now have access to the file manager however looking for the WP Content folder is difficult. This is what I get when I go into the file manager.

    web users
    vault scripts
    subdomains
    statistics
and so on…. There is no neon sign for me pointing to WP Content Folder
