Dashboard News Feed Not Working

    The dashboard widget “News From Solwin Technologies” is not working.

    Error messages include:
    The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
    An error has occurred, which probably means the feed is down. Try again later.

    WordPress core and plugins are up-to-date.

    Would suggest you run your feed through simplepie first to detect if there are any errors before passing it to the WP rss feed widget in user_activity_log.php line 76

    Figured out the reason was that the PHP lib SimpleXML had not been installed on the server.

    Everything working fine again.
