Dashboard menu not working

  • Hi, not sure what happened but overnight, the Dashboard menu won’t do anything in Safari. I am able to login without a problem. Once logged in I click Sandown Garden Club in the top right corner, then try to click Dashboard and other menu items showing, and it does nothing.

    I opened in Chrome and it works fine, just not in Safari.

    For me to get it to work in Safari, I copied the address from Chrome, https://www.sandowngardenclub.org/wp-admin/index.php, pasted this into Safari, and that worked. I was then able to work in my dashboard in Safari.

    So it appears the links in the dropdown “Dashboard””Themes””Widgets” etc., are dead links.

    I did not add any plugins but recently updated WP to 4.9.1.

    What happened??

    try disabling any extensions an Safari

    Well, I didn’t disable any extensions in Safari. What I did do is deactivate a couple of plugins and on the 3rd one …. it started working again. Soooooo weird!!

    Well, I take that back. It stopped working again. This is too time consuming and we shouldn’t have to be going through all this for something we didn’t even break ourselves.
