• Hi there,
When I logged into my site this evening and went to my dashboard only the menu appeared on the left had side. Where the main dashboard content should be there was just a blank space.

I think I have WP 3.4.2 installed. I am using the thesis theme. When i click the thesis link on the side menu my thesis options appear in the main area. Unfortunately nothing else appears in that area (ie Posts, pages , Media etc)

I have never had this problem before.
    Can anyone help?
    Many thanks

  • More than likely there is a PHP error.

First thing first. I would try to update to the latest version of WP but do so with cation. But things normally just do not stop working out of the blue.

Did installed anything or uninstall anything lately?
Did your host change anything (update PHP version, etc…)?

Do you have a way to to check the error logs for the server?

    Hi Justin,
Thanks for your feedback. I have just contacted my host about the PHP and error logs question.
I have had WP on my host for a few years (just one installation running my site). No problems whatsoever. I have not installed or uninstall anything. This is the first time i have logged in for about 3 months. the actual website site itself seems to be working fine.
thanks once again for your help. ??
If i do have to upgrade my WP i will make sure i will copy everything first and precede with caution.

    Hi Justin,
I got feedback from my host.
I selected a different php version from cPanel >> PHP Version selector
Changed it from 5.5 native to 5.3
It worked! The full WP Dashboard now appears.

They said there was a litespeed upgrade on the server which might have caused the issue.

    Thanks
