Dashboard Looks VERY strange! Page not loading properly…

  • My dashboard looks VERY weird, the page isn’t loading properly (something to do with JavaScript?). The only thing I’ve done recently is start using the WordPress app on my iPhone but could that do anything?! I have a picture but don’t seem to be able to upload anything here. Any help would be great as I can’t really use it at the moment!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
