dashboard looks all different and can't access visual editor tools

Hi there.

In the upper right corner of the message box can you see the Visual and HTML tabs?

In the edit post I can still see visual and html, but when I switch to html none of the tools change, and the entire layout is different in both modes.

So what you’re saying is that no matter in which tab you are, Visual or HTML, the tools are the same, right?

No, you need to upload them somewhere like https://postimage.org/ and then post here the links. Either way, go through the links I just mentioned, I’m sure you’ll find a solution suitable for you.

The visual tools are there. For instance, click in “advanced paragraph” and more will come up. The problem there is that your dashboard is all messed up. Are you sure you didn’t change anything like path destinations manually? In FTP or something like that. What did you do last time you accessed your dashboard?

I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary, and woke up to this mess. The advanced tools just bring up the paragraph, heading etc choices.

Try disabling all the plugins and see if it works. If not, try opening in different browsers.

Using liquidweb, and I have tried all browsers. Have disabled several but not all plugins. I’ll try that

Are you using GoDaddy’s hosting? I’ve searched “wordpress dashboard messed up” in Google and dozens of topics come out. You might want to read through them and check for a possible solution, as I’ve read a lot of them! If none of them work and you’ve tried everything, reply back here ??
