    Hello

I’d be grateful for some assistance please. I’m using the Easy Updates Manager plugin on several sites and have been for some time as it’s a great plugin.

I’ve encountered an issue today when trying to log in as admin to some site dashbaords. I’m unable to login as the attempts eventually time out with the following browser message.

    The page isn’t redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

I’ve gone through my theme and plugins one by one disabling them, but this seesms to be related to Easy Updates Manager because when disabled the issue no longer exists.

On another of my sites, I have a similar issue, but this time with the error message:

Fatal error: Class ‘MPSUM_Admin_Ajax’ not found in /home/headwaynw/public_html/wp-content/plugins/stops-core-theme-and-plugin-updates/main.php on line 153

    Regards

    Ash

    Hi @ashwhitney,

    This message
The page isn’t redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
comes from server (for example, Apache) and meaning that it didn’t reach your WordPress folder to serve the page. We don’t do any redirects within our plugin code.

For this message, I would like to recommend you that you need to reinstall Easy Updates manager plugin.
Fatal error: Class ‘MPSUM_Admin_Ajax’ not found in /home/headwaynw/public_html/wp-content/plugins/stops-core-theme-and-plugin-updates/main.php on line 153

I hope this helps you, if you have further questions please feel free to ask

    Hello Venkat

Thank you for your time and advice.

The login redirect issue does seem to be related to the Easy Updates Manager plugin I’m afraid.

I can access the wp-login page with no issues, enter my username and password, but on clicking the login button there is a delay follwed by the redirect error message from my original post.

I’ve deleted and reinstalled Easy Updates Manager. I’ve also disabled my plugins one by one to try and isolate the issue, but I’m only seeing this issue when Easy Updates Manager is enabled – as soon as I disable it, the login works fine.

    Regards

    Ash

    Hello Ash Whitney,

Do you still get Fatal error after reinstalling the plugin?
Is your single site or multisite?

As others don’t experience such issue neither could I reproduce the issue at my end, I still believe it is something to do with server setup/config. If you could share apache error log file, that would be helpful for us to look into the issue.

Thanks for your patience with our plugin.

    Regards
    Venkat
