• I recently moved a site and now I can’t access the Dashboard. I’ve updated the theme via FTP and also deleted all the plugins but I still can’t login. On the wp-admin page I get the error: Notice: add_object_page is deprecated since version 4.5.0! Use add_menu_page() instead. in /home/sites/total-fire-safety.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3831. On the wp-login.php it allows me to login but then I get a white screen. Baffled! Any help much appreciated.

  • The error that you quote above suggests a theme error. Try renaming your theme and then logging in. This will deactivate your current theme, and switch to the default, but it should at least allow you to log in.

Hi, thanks for replying. I have tried that but unfortunately it doesn’t work, the whole site disappears, I can’t reach anything. With the theme switched on I can get to wp-login.php but after logging in I get a white screen.
