When I click the ‘Dashboard’ link my expectation is that I would see the Job Dashboard. Instead, I just remain on the same page, here… https://www.churchdrum.co.uk/my-account/

    Dashboard
    Orders
    Downloads
    Addresses
    Payment methods
    Account details
    Logout

It’s confusing and does not make any sense to me. After all, the page, is called ‘My Account’, so why have a button called ‘Dashboard’ that links to the ‘My Account’ page? My users find it very confusing, as do I, and they wonder why they can’t see their jobs.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

this is the my account section of Woocommerce.

The shortcode for the jobs dashboard is this one here:

    [job_dashboard]

    Hi @rocknets,

I’m sorry for the confusion! The Dashboard link there refers to the My Account Dashboard. Depending on your theme, it may have a UI change showing that you are on the dashboard. For instance, on my test site, the page I am on is underlined, so Dashboard shows as underlined and when I click on the Orders link it underlines that. The menu is just showing all the options all the time, similar to when you have a site menu with a link to the home page.

@braehler is correct, if you want users to be able to view their jobs, you would need to set up a page that is defined as the Job Dashboard with the [job_dashboard] shortcode. You can find more details on that here.
