    Hi,

I discovered today, that I cannot drag&drop my dashboard widgets. So I disabled all plugins and enabled them one by one, every time reloading dashboard to see what plugin causes this issue: it is this plugin.

As soon as I disable it, I can drag&drop and move around all dashboard items.

In addition to this, the EasyForms dashboard widgets has this error:
    https://screencloud.net/v/fnaPx

    • WP 4.7.3 multisite
    • EasyForms only enabled at a single blog
    • Browser: Firefox 52.0.1 with Javascript and Cookies enabled
    • OS: Windows 7 prof. x64

Could you please fix this? It has worked with former version of EasyForms.
    Thank you

    Hi @csigncsign,

I’ll investigate this further today and get back to you.

I’ve seen a similar issue happen before where users had an older version of PHP. Do you know which version of PHP is installed on your website?

    Let me know,
    Kevin.

    Hi Kevin,

    I have PHP 7.0.14.

    Thanks.

and another problem occurs: I cannot save the integration settings: the right sidebar of the settings is missing:

    https://screencloud.net/v/cynqu

when I therefor reload this page, then this error appears:

    https://screencloud.net/v/3cVGd

Activated the debugger, but no errors are logged there.

    Hi @csigncsign,

It seems like API communication is failing. Can you try making a new form based on a list? Are your lists appearing? Are you able to create new forms?

    Hi Kevin,

    1. the dashboard issue is resolved by creating a new API key.
    2. is not resolved yet with this new API key:

    a) https://screencloud.net/v/cynqu
    b) https://screencloud.net/v/3cVGd

New forms can be created, but the “settings page” has this issues.
I went back to v6.3.8 of this plugin – same errors.

    Look at this strange behaviour:

    1. I access settings page -> integration settings:
no list is selected, looks like this: https://screencloud.net/v/B5Gm6

    2. then I select my list, suddenly the error disappears and my interest groups appears, but still no sidebar and at the bottom of this all no way to save these settings: https://screencloud.net/v/Ds8BC

    3. when reloading this page (../wp-admin/admin.php?page=yikes-inc-easy-mailchimp-settings&section=integration-settings), then the list is selected, okay, but the error message is here again, but no interest groups are here, no sidebar and no saving options for this all: https://screencloud.net/v/hMpRp

    4. when I look at mailchimp.com, then I see this message below the API keys:
    https://screencloud.net/v/D2Uzx

Are you able to see any successful communication between the MailChimp plugin? The reason I asked if you were able to create a new list/see your lists is because I think the issue may be communication between MailChimp.com and your server. There have been a lot of reports recently of MailChimp blacklisting IP addresses, and that’s one possible cause of this issue. Within MailChimp.com can you see successful communication happening? (i.e. communication that doesn’t result in “The requested resource could not be found”)

    Probably this may help:
on another multisite with newest version of your plugin installed, then when I try to access my dashboard, then I get a blank white page, with just this error:

    Error thrown
Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array

Then I go to my FTP and delete there your plugin, then this error is gone and I can access my site without any problems.

These two multisite installations run with PHP 7.0.14 and WP 4.7.3

There is a communication, look here:
    https://screencloud.net/v/kmXqj
    in mailchimp.com below “API keys”

Please see my answer above: , there seems to be another problem then a blacklisting_

    Error thrown
Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array

    EDIT:

I checked the IP here, there is 1 blacklist:
    https://multirbl.valli.org/lookup/85.13.156.56.html
But I don’t know what to do with this info now?

    (@yikesitskevin)

What’s worrying me is the “The requested resource could not be found” error. This is the API’s generic response when it couldn’t find data, and the URL it’s trying to access should not return that. When I look at the communication (in the same spot you are – MailChimp.com – below API Keys) on my test MailChimp account, I am not seeing that error message. This leads me to believe that communication between your IP address and MailChimp.com is being blocked for some reason. This may not be the case, but all the data I’m seeing right now is pointing towards that. I assure you we have other users with multisite installations that are not receiving the same errors. Could you contact either your hosting company or MailChimp.com (or both) and ask them if they can look at the network traffic between your server and MailChimp.com?

    Thread Starter BeeCee

    (@csigncsign)

but this “not be found” refers obviously to the “interest categories/group”?
    https://screencloud.net/v/DiPNw

There is a green mark, when I access for example the plugin to create a new form, that works fine and in mailchimp.com is a green mark below the API keys.

    And what about this error

    Error thrown
Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array

when accessing another site of mine with that blank white page?

When you follow up my answer above, then it seems to me, that the plugin is trying to gave an error as array, but I’m not a coder.

    (@yikesitskevin)

Okay I see what you’re saying now, something is failing with grabbing the interest categories. I’m not sure what’s wrong with it but at the very least I can provide better error handling, which should give better visibility into the issue. I will work on this tomorrow and hopefully have an update for you tomorrow morning (EST).

    (@csigncsign)

I think it has something to do with “interest groups” from Mailchimp.com.

On another multisite I use another Mailchimp account, which does not use “groups” for a list: https://screencloud.net/v/A80Su

And on this site, your plugin works like a charm.

Only at those 2 sites (from different multisite installations by the way!), where Mailchimp lists are used, that have groups, there I have this error

    Error thrown
Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array

So something must be wrong with retrieving groups into the plugin settings?
And perhaps the plugin needs to gave an error, but this error cannot be given right because it is set as an array? (sorry for my bad English)

    Thread Starter BeeCee

    (@csigncsign)

    Just an info:

the plugin works fine as long as I do not touch the integration settings page (see my description here), I can create new forms, I can add the widget to my footer or sidebar, it displays right.
And all this has in mailchimp.com a green mark: https://screencloud.net/v/oxYgq

Only when I try to access and change something at the “integration settings page” as described above, then in mailchimp.com the result is this (“the requested resource could not be found”): https://screencloud.net/v/D2Uzx

    Another info:
I contacted my hoster, my server IP is not blacklisted. He checked it at https://mxtoolbox.com/.
