Dashboard hangs when clicking anything
-
Hello, good morning.
I’m having a bit of trouble accessing, and creating a new post on my Blog. On my iMac (running OSX 10.12.2 MacOS Sierra), I have no problems at all. But on my partners Mac, running OSX 10.10 I can’t seem to do anything.
Logging onto the dashboard seems ok on her Mac, (using Safari 8) but once there, when I click on anything, the browser just hangs, and doesn’t do anything. I’ve noticed as well, that on her browser doesn’t display any of the visitor data that’s usually on the dashboard.
Once in a blue moon, the ‘new post’ button will take her to a new post, but when she starts typing, the words being typed done’t display in the box – and after a brief time, they appear, but as white text over white background.
Another time, when I hit ‘new post’ I get this error message:
Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Does it sound like one of the css files might have gone walkies when updating to a new WordPress, and my Mac cached the file – which would explain that it works on my end?
Has anyone got any thoughts on how I can check what the problem could be at all?
Many thanks.
