In the dashboard, if i search for today’s events, events that are part of a series and multiday events do not show up if their start date is before today. This is critical because we need to see what is happening today!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thank you for reaching out.
    Yikes!

To make sure we investigate this properly, would you mind clarifying how you are searching for today’s events in the dashboard? A screenshot would be awesome, but a step-by-step description would also work.

    Hang in there!

Hi! I love and appreciate the “Hang in there!” I did break up the series that we had, so in these tests you will see another series showing up for that reason. I have tried multiple things to search for today. With “StartDate” set to “in the future” it shows tomorrow’s but not things are still need to happen today. Startdate is today, is what we have been using, which is shown in my post below.

Per the multiday, I get it about “startdate” for that, but the way it works in the front end (when working) is the way we need it in the backend for management.
I am showing the front end for that, as were we are seeing multiday events showing up multiple times on the same day. I did deactivate other plugins, but did not see a change.

Hi @tracybcarpenter, sorry to hear about this, and thanks for providing us the screenshots here. With the new v6.0 release you should be able to filter any event by Start and End date. See screen recording here → https://share.getcloudapp.com/E0uZ4Zkv.

However, there’s no filter the same as this for the Series. Appreciate you bringing this to our attention, for now, we do not have a filter on your Dashboard for the series where you could search by dates, only keywords.

I’d definitely check with the team if there are any workarounds or something I missed. I’d get back to you as soon as I know more.

    Hang in there ??

Hi @tracybcarpenter, I encourage and recommend you to add it as a feature request in this link: https://evnt.is/ideas, this would help us track users needing this feature.

Nevertheless, I am unable to provide you with an exact date for when this feature will be available or if it is possible. As our development team considers certain factors before implementing one like if a feature request has enough votes.

Also, this thread has been inactive for a while, so we’re going to go ahead and mark it Resolved. Please feel free to open a new thread if any other questions come up, and we’d be happy to help.

    Have a great week ahead.

    Cheers,
    Abz
