Dashboard drop down menus, both in post and out, dont’t work

New problem today. No changes made, no new widgets or plugins, but today the drop down menus in the dashboard don’t work.

Well, I can’t say “don’t work” they do drop down by what appears to be about 1/4 inch, just so I can see the tops of the headlines on the page.

This is true for the “new post” button on the tool bar, the “help” button, and when I am editing a post and wanting to add a picture, click on the Media Library, click on the “show” button of the picture I want to add to the post.

Note, the “Add an Image” page pops up just fine, and dims the background like always, I can see the thumbnails, but I can only see 1/8th to 1/4 of an inch of the image if I hit the “show button”
