• I have just installed the version 2.9.1 in BlueHost. I have installed WP using the fantastic guide in 5 steps.

The dashboard of admin looks very bad (without CSS). Is there any information about this problem?.

Thank you in advance. (I’m only an advanced user, not a programmer.)

  • well your first problem is that you are using bluehost. haha you should be using dreamhost! this link will give you $25 off your plan.

anyways. if you truly successfully installed a fresh copy of wordpress your dashboard should look normal by default. could we have a screen shot or something of your dashboard in question. also if it is really messed up and you have not yet really gone in and customized your blog i would uninstall and reinstall again.

I have been using BlueHost successfully and happily for years. It sounds like you may be missing something from your install. Either re-upload all of the files, or you can simply use Simple Scripts to do an automatic install, which is quick and easy. Simply select Simple Scripts, select WordPress, choose the location you want it installed to, and go from there. Here is a quick tutorial I found on BlueHost’s site if you’re interested: https://tutorials.bluehost.com/wordpress/
