Dash Board Screen Options and Themes Customization Prevented from Working

  • The Yoast SEO plugin appears to prevent me from customizing my wordpress twenty fourteen theme after activation (Themes/customize – theme won’t load on page after activation). In addition, it appears does not allow me to use my screen options setting when accessing the dashboard. Please advise.

    Note: All my wordpress items are up to date. I went thru each plugin one by one.
